Here are some suggestions for busy people who want to try walking to lose weight.

  1. Junk the car and walk to and from wherever you need to go. There are times when all we need to do is leave the car on the garage, save some gas and get trim. For instance, walking to and from the office everyday can help you lose weight as it can add a valuable exercise routine to your day.
  2. Go sightseeing and take the longer route. If you’re already walking to and from your office, then why not leave the house earlier and go sightseeing? You can take a different and longer route to your office to add more steps to your daily walking to lose weight routine.
  3. Take the stairs. If your office is not on the tenth floor or higher, you can also try to use the stairs to burn more calories. Of course, it may be pretty difficult at the start but when you do it constantly, you’ll notice that it will get easier, day by day.
  4. Take a walk instead of a nap after lunch. After a hefty lunch, try to go out of the office so you burn calories instead of storing them up when you take a nap. Walking to lose weight does not always mean that you have to walk an hour everyday because even a couple of minutes would do.

Do not forget to wear comfortable shoes when you perform your walking to lose weight routine though as you don’t want to end up with blisters and muscle cramps when you walk with your stilettos.
